Welcome to the official blog of the Lake Don Pedro Owners Association.

This blog is a place to share community news and items of interest, not only just from the Association, but also from our members and their neighbors. Submission of ideas, suggestions, and stories are all welcome. Submissions for posting may be sent to the LDPOA office info@ldpoa.com (please put Blog Submission in your subject line).

While we welcome your comments this blog is monitored for slanderous and inappropriate content. Any such comments will be removed.

We are a unique community close to Yosemite National Park, nestled between two large recreational lakes in the heart of the California Mother lode. Our subdivision is one of the largest in California, encompassing over 12,000 acres of rolling foothills. We are situated in both Tuolumne and Mariposa counties, with 18 natural parks and an 85+ mile public Equestrian/Pedestrian trail system.

The Lake Don Pedro Owners' Association policy regarding web links to non-association, third party and off-site information and websites.

The Lake Don Pedro Owners' Assoc. website http://www.ldpoa.com/ is funded by the association for the purposes of providing access to factual information, forms and announcements about the association and relevant information concerning the surrounding area and communities.

Originally, free placement of links to unofficial and unmonitored third party outside web pages and sites were allowed. Due to legal issues regarding liability for content when the association has no way to ensure accuracy, mistaken impressions of LDPOA endorsement of statements by third parties and misinformation resulting from inaccurate and misleading information from linked third party sites, the following is now policy.

The http://www.ldpoa.com/ website is for official association information. No business or individual shall have the capability to upload information or links to other outside web pages or sites onto the LDPOA website without the approval of the Board of Directors.

What a giant load of BS. There is no liability to LDPOA for any comments posted on the Member's Blogs. Google has a TOS (Terms of Service) policy that covers that. When we set up this website we checked this out.

This board has done everything in their power to censor members comments when they don't agree with the "party Line".

You have used our own newsletter to go after those that speak out and turning off the member's blog is just another example of your censorship.

Though you have published a link to another member's blog who just happens to be a director in our newsletter. And that blog makes anyone reading it think that Lake Don Pedro isn't a nice place to live or raise their kids.

Might I remind you that the specific and primary purpose in our Articles of Incorporation is "To unite property owners in Lake Don Pedro Subdivision, a subdivision located in Mariposa and Tuolumne Counties, California”

I would really love for the board to prove me wrong and start being a board that represents all the members and one that isn’t afraid of criticism and one that is willing to admit to their mistakes and learn from them. Unfortunately I fully expect you to continue your unfair and biased practices and delete this post so I will be publishing it on

http://keefecat.blogspot.com/ an uncensored blog for all members.

I guess the old saying the truth hurts really applies to this board.
